This privacy policy applies to the Deenwatch app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was created by Zafrox (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service.
The Application collects and stores data locally on your device to provide a seamless and personal experience. Below are the details of the types of information we use:
To calculate highly accurate local prayer times (Salat times), the Application requires access to your device's geographical location (Latitude and Longitude). This location data is processed entirely offline on your device using the integrated Adhan calculation library. We do not transmit, sell, or share your location coordinates with any external servers or third parties.
The Application uses an internal Room Database to save your features' progress. The following data is stored 100% locally on your phone:
This data remains on your device and will be permanently deleted if you uninstall the Application or clear its storage cache.
The Application requests permission to send Notifications. This is used strictly to provide you with timely prayer reminders (Athan alerts) and to run a persistent Foreground Service. This Foreground Service keeps the automatic silent scheduler active and displays a notification to let you know when the Silent Mode is running. No personal or notification data is sent to external servers.
To ensure that the Automatic Silent Mode functions reliably and is not terminated by the Android operating system's aggressive background power management (Doze Mode), the Application requests permission to be exempted from battery optimizations. This configuration is handled completely locally on your device, and no battery usage metrics or analytics are tracked or transmitted off-device.
The Application features an Automatic Silent Mode to mute your device during prayer times. This feature accesses the local audio system settings to toggle the device’s ringer mode (Silent/Vibrate/Normal). Please note:

We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Since all your data is stored locally in your device's secure sandbox environment, the security of your data depends heavily on the security of your mobile device.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since the app functions primarily offline and does not harvest user profiles, it is completely safe for family and children use.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

By downloading, installing, or using the Deenwatch mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"), which is owned and operated by Zafrox (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Disclaimer: Prayer times (Salat times) are calculated offline using astronomical formulas based on your offline coordinates. Due to atmospheric conditions, geographic variables, or local mosque schedules, slight variances may occur. We strongly advise you to verify prayer times with your local mosque or authority. Zafrox is not liable for any missed prayers, spiritual consequences, or inconveniences resulting from inaccuracies in calculation.
The Automatic Silent Mode is a convenience feature designed to mute your device during prayer times by toggling ringer settings. Please note:
The Application uses an offline-first architecture (local Room Database). Your data (such as Tasbih counts, Qaza prayer logs, and custom settings) is stored 100% locally on your device. We do not sync or back up this data to any online server. If you clear the application storage, uninstall the application, or lose your mobile device, your data will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered by us.

All intellectual property rights in the Application, including but not limited to the brand name Deenwatch, logos, designs, custom user interfaces, and software code, are owned exclusively by Zafrox. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zafrox shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Application.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. When updates are made, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of the developer, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
